Już dłuższy czas nic nie publikowałem 😉 więc chciałbym napisać dzisiaj o balu, w którym brałem udział jeszcze w październiku. Na jednym z forów dotyczących Erasmus Plus znalazłem informację, że 12go października odbędzie Ball of Opportunities – bal zorganizowany przez Fundację FURORA jako zakończenie wymiany młodzieżowej „Leaders of Tomorrow”. Zgodnie z opisem była to okazja na networking, gry towarzyskie, a nawet wspólne zatańczenie poloneza (jako oficjalne rozpoczęcie balu), nie mogło też zabraknąć prezentacji na temat Erasmus Plus i innych programów unijnych dających szanse osobom mniej uprzywilejowanym. Na miejsce, w którym odbędzie się wydarzenie, organizatorzy wybrali mniej oczywistą część Warszawy – Pragę Północ, a dokładniej klub Loft 21. Doszedłem do wniosku, że nie może mnie zabraknąć, skoro lubię imprezy, mam elegancką wiedeńską marynarkę oraz jestem związany z programem Erasmus Plus. Na miejscu okazało się natomiast, że były prezes Fundacji ma na nazwisko Tempczyk, a jego brat też jest Paweł, więc przez chwilę organizatorzy myśleli, że brat byłego prezesa chciałby uczestniczyć w balu 😀
It’s been a while since I posted for the last time 😉 so I’d like to write today about an event I attended back in October. I found information on one of Erasmus Plus forums that the Ball of Opportunities organized by the FURORA Foundation to mark the end of the youth exchange „Leaders of Tomorrow ” would be taking place on October 12th. As described it was an opportunity for networking, social games, and even dancing the polonaise together (as the official opening of the ball). We couldn’t miss a presentation about Erasmus Plus and other EU programs that offer opportunities to the less privileged. The organizers chose a less obvious part of Warsaw – Praga Północ – as the venue for the event, specifically the Loft 21 club. I figured I couldn’t miss it since I like to party, have an elegant Viennese jacket, and am connected with the Erasmus Plus program. However, once I got there, it turned out that the former president of the Foundation’s last name was Tempczyk, and his brother was also Paweł, so for a moment the organizers thought the former president’s brother had applied to join the ball 😀
